K’Ozzie Fest 2013, under the patronage of the Polish Embassy, is organised by a Sydney based Kosciuszko Heritage Inc. The main venue: Banjo Paterson Park, Jindabyne, 23rd & 24th February 2013. An updated program is published below.
Saturday, February 23, 2013
• 12 p.m.: a Fraternity Flight over Mt Kosciuszko, with the African-American artist Roy Eaton joining Ngarigo elder on Cessna, sponsored by the Jindabyne Aero Club
• 5 p.m.: Piano recitals at Horizons Resort Hotel, Jindabyne, Kosciuszko Rd. A special appearance by an Afro-American pianist Roy Eaton from New York, dedicated to the Ngarigo people, the traditional custodians of Mt Kosciuszko. Another performance by Krzysztof Malek of Sydney. Free Entry.
• 8:30 p.m.: Moonshine over the lake: the first ever in Jindabyne - laser show; an outdoor concert at the Strzelecki Monument, Banjo Paterson Park, featuring singer Lech Makowiecki of the Zayazd Ensemble (Poland), Claribel Quartet (Poland), actors of Scena 98 (Perth).

• 8:30 a.m.: Mass at St Columbkille’s Church, Kosciuszko Rd (optional)
• 10 a.m.: Movie premiere “Polish-Aboriginal Fraternity Flights over Mt Kosciuszko” at Bowling Club, Banjo Paterson Park
• 11 a.m: – Video screening: a retransmission of Centenary Mass on Mt Kosciuszko celebrated by Most Rev. Bp Julian Porteous, at Bowling Club. The screening on demand possible between 12 noon and 4 pm.
• 12 noon: stalls and a BBQ with traditional Polish food by Polonez Smallgoods, at Banjo Paterson Park; Kosciuszko Pale Ale tasting sponsored by Kosciuszko Brewery based at Banjo Paterson Inn.
• 1 p.m.: gala concert at the Strzelecki Monument, official opening, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the unveiling of the Strzelecki Monument and mounting a new Memorial Plaque on the monument; folkloric dances by “Lajkonik” from Sydney and “Lowicz” from Melbourne; other artists.
• 4 p.m.: Kosciuszko Brewery tour
• 4:30 p.m.: festival close.
