What you should know about The International Kosciuszko Bicentenary Competition
A total of 58 prizes to the value of $18,950 have been awarded. The prizes were funded by the Polish Senate, Association Wspolnota Polska, Polish Consulate in Sydney and portal Puls Polonii. In the Youth Category we have winners from Australia, Poland, Ukraine and USA. We have Adult winners from Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Poland, Ukraine and USA. In Music Category 37 songs and 7 instrumental compositions were received. 142 works in Graphic and 172 works in Literary Category were submitted. The winning songs and images will be made into a Souvenir DVD. In 2008, the best short stories and poems will be published in the form of a bilingual anthology.
