During our Gala Concert in Jindabyne (Mound & Mt Kosciuszko Festival) we have collected some money for the Cooma Hospital. Last Monday our donation was handed over by Carole Thomas of the Snowy River Echo Monthly to the manager of the Hospital. The event was witnessed by several local media. Here is a little report sent in by Carole.
Angie Ingram, administrator, accepts a cheque for $762.20 from Carole Thomas on behalf of Puls Polonii Mound & Mount Kosciuszko Festival 2008.
The inside photo shows on the right hand side where the boards are, where the intended television set will be hung - on the wall, so patients waiting outside the emergency room can watch TV.
The donation will be supplemented by another raffle to buy both the Television set and a set of toys for the children.
