| Polish Song and Dance Ensemble “PILSKO” is sponsored by Cepelia, Zywiec, Poland.
So, to help finance their Aussie visit, Pilsko will be bringing a large selection of traditionally woven kilims, and at least one kilim will be raffled at each concert. Other kilims may be purchased or ordered by arrangement.
The first concert is at Marayong, on Friday, 22 October, starting at 7pm (114 Quakers Hill Rd, Marayong).
The second concert will be at St Gertrude’s Parish Hall, corner of Justin and Neville Streets, Smithfield, at 3pm, on Saturday, 23 October. This concert will be HUGE, with Lajkonik Senior and Junior Groups joining PILSKO in performing. Polish pierogi, bigos, kielbaski, beer, paczki, Polish cakes, tea and coffee, will be able to be purchased in the kitchen. After the concert, festivities will continue with a real Goralska zabawa AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. Come along and meet the dancers, the musicians, the teachers . Come and enjoy real Goralskie singing and dancing.
