Peter de Jager is a highly sought-after soloist and chamber musician in Melbourne. He was a student of Nehama Patkin and Stephen McIntyre before studying at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) from 2005 to 2008 with Rita Reichman. He was a prize winner in the 2007 Lev Vlassenko competition, and was twice finalist in ANAM's internal concerto competition. Peter participated in the 2009 and 2010 Lucerne Festival Academy, playing under the baton and artistic direction of Pierre Boulez. He is currently undergoing a bachelor of Music in composition from the University of Melbourne.
