W najbliższym czasie w czterech miastach Australii odbędą się sympozja nt. migracji i wielokulturowości zorganizowane przez Ambasadę RP w Canberze we współpracy z Australijskim Instytutem Spraw Polskich (AIPA) oraz lokalnymi uczelniami (Australian National University, University of Western Sydney, Monash University i University of Tasmania), z udziałem trojga specjalistów z Ośrodka Badań nad Migracjami Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego (prof. Marka Okólskiego, dr Pawła Kaczmarczyka i dr Magdaleny Lesińskiej) oraz wielu znanych ekspertów australijskich. Sympozja odbędą się (w porządku chronologicznym):
- w Hobart w Parliament House w piątek 25 listopada;
- w Sydney na University of Western Sydney (Bankstown campus) w poniedziałek 28 listopada;
- w Melbourne na Monash University (Caulfield campus) w środę 30 listopada;
- w Canberze w ANU Centre for European Studies w czwartek 1 grudnia.
Udział w sympozjach we wszystkich miastach jest bezpłatny, jednak uczestnicy proszeni są o wcześniejszą rejestrację na adresy wskazane w ulotkach.
