| Olivia Rogowska defeated fellow Australian and defending champion Jelena Dokic in the second round of the WTA's Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur.
Rogowska needed slightly over two hours to oust the seventh-seeded Dokic 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort on Thursday.
Rogowska's quarter-final opponent will be Eleni Daniilidou of Greece, who cruised past fourth-seeded Australian Jarmila Gajdosova 6-4, 6-0.
