The official language of Poland and an official language of the European Union, Polish is spoken by over 50 million people worldwide, including more than 50 thousand speakers in Sydney alone.

In partnership with the Polish School of Sydney (Randwick), the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) offers a comprehensive and interactive Polish Language Program for beginners to intermediate learners.

Learn to speak, read and write Polish, as well as discover essential customs and important history. Whether or not you’ve studied previously, are planning to travel, have Polish heritage, or are simply looking for a unique way to expand your mind, why not challenge yourself by enrolling in a Polish course with CCE at The University of Sydney?

QUICK FACTS
Polish is the second most spoken Slavic language (after Russian). There are 32 letters in the Polish alphabet: nine vowels and 23 consonants. Many of the consonants are almost identical to English. Other West Slavic Languages, such as Czech and Slovak, are so similar you’ll also be able to understand them by learning Polish.
