| Here we are at the opening evening of Polart Perth. The Festival wheel here is turning well - already we have had the first major folkloric concert which was just full of energy and joy with 96 couples on stage at the same time. The Artistic Director Henryk Kurylewski has prepared an amazing finale! It is very very hot - each day climbs into the 40s.
Perth is a beautiful city, and the Perthowscy Polacy are very friendly. Yesterday we had a lovely dinner at the General Sikorski Polish Club restaurant followed by rehearsal. The cost of the rehearsal was sponsored and I will send a separate thankyou in that regard in my next email.
Anyway, hi to all our friends and families in Sydney. Being at PolArt with all the other groups is what its all about for Polish-Aussie youth. Where is the next PolArt - so far, no-one knows?!
