| On Good Friday, 29th March, the Sydney Consort cordially invites you for our special concert this year to share and celebrate the devout music intentionally composed for this day, filled with sorrowful arias and the dramatic beauty of Stabat Mater. Boccherini’s masterpiece is full of graceful arias and the composer’s writing is of extraordinary individuality which seems to come straight from the heart. Our regular guest artist, outstanding soprano - Anna Fraser, will join us in this performance. For the first time, the Sydney Consort warmly welcomes another versatile musician, violist, Tobias Breider.
