Dear Pan Daniel, Pani Malgorzata, Pani Dominika and Pani Ewa. On behalf of all the children, youth and parents of Lajkonik, I would like to say thankyou to you all for the wonderful work that you have done in Sydney in the years that you have been here. You were open and accessible to everyone, be they individuals or organizations, seeking advice, information, support or consideration on matters relating to Poland and Polonia here in Australia.
You have delivered a relentlessly-intensive and regular programme of activities engaging within both professional, cultural and general public interest areas of such amazing depth and proportion that the Polish Consulate in Sydney has become a hub of activities for the local Polonia and anyone visiting who is either from Poland, or simply affiliated with Poland in any way.
You have significantly elevated the role, significance and relevance of the Polish Consulate in Sydney, to both the local Sydney Polonia, the Australian-Polish community in broader NSW and other States, and to the Australian public as well, through your MANY EXCELLENT INITIATIVES.
Thankyou so much for your interest, enthusiasm and support over the years. Sydney Polonia will miss you all very deeply, and we wish you well in future postings. We hope that you will stay in touch.
Best wishes Urszula Lang Artistic Director, Lajkonik
