Lajkonik Song and Dance Ensemble welcomes new youth and children wanting to join!

Our rehearsals are:
Junior Group: All Saints Parish Hall, 6.30pm to 8.00pm, Monday evenings
Senior Group: St Gertrude's Parish Hall, 7pm to 9.30pm, Friday evenings

Our Ensemble loves to travel, and a number of interstate trips are planned for this year. At the end of the year, we are very excited about travelling to Perth in WA for the Polart Polish Festival, and much of the year will be devoted to preparation.

The Lajkonik Mission Statement is to have a well-run Ensemble which strives for performance excellence. We have our own unique style which involves both singing and dancing, and we undertake a range of interesting projects throughout the year which serve to build up our diverse repertoire. This year we have a special project funded by the Blum Foundation, involving learning about the Polish Migration Experience.

Optional music lessons with our Vocal/Musical Director, Konstancja Kotowski, are available through the junior group programme.

The Ensemble can be booked for special events such as weddings, 50th birthday parties, conferences etc.
