The new brilliant documentary series about Polish heroes
of war will air in Australia on the History Channel starting this coming Tuesday, 5th November at 7:30pm and ending on December 3rd. For pretty much the first time, an English speaking documentary series will be accurately portraying some of the great contributions of Polish people in WW2. The episodes as produced are:
1. Captain Witold Pilecki – ‘Volunteer for Auschwitz’ 2. Cichociemni – ‘The Dark and Silent’ (WW2 Special Ops. paratroops) 3. Enigma – The Polish mathematicians who broke the code 4. Code name: Żegota – Polish Council to Aid Jews 5. Krystyna Skarbek / Christine Granville – WW2 Special Agent
The first one going to air in Australia is about Krystyna Skarbek.
