Za polonijną miedzą
seria spotkań z ekspertami smoleńskimi
Polonia Center, Washinton DC organizuje serię spotkań z ekspertami smoleńskimi i posłem Antonim Macierewiczem.INVITATION . MEETING WITH CHAIRMAN ANTONI MACIEREWICZ, MP & SOME TECHNICAL EXPERTS OF THE POLISH PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE FOR THE INVESTIGATION OF THE CRASH OF THE POLISH AIR FORCE ONE IN SMOLENSK, RUSSIA, ON APRIL 10, 2010.

On October 21, 2013 in Warsaw, over 100 scientists from all over the world participated in an independent scientific conference on the cause of the Smolensk Crash. Scientific research demonstrates that the Polish Tu-154M could not have burst into thousands of pieces after hitting a birch tree. The analysis of satellite pictures has shown that the birch was already broken on April 5, 2010, that's 5 days before the crash. Strong internal force caused the disintegration of the Polish Tu-154M in mid-air, before hitting the ground. Photographs from the crash scene show debris from the airplane located before the birch tree blamed for causing the crash.

***** Technical Experts Taking Part in the Meetings W. Berczynski, PhD, Boeing aircraft structural design engineer (ret.), world-famous aviation expert;

Prof. Wieslaw Binienda, Expert on high energy impact virtual experiments, member of the aerospace consortium supporting the investigation of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster;

Sr. Eng. Bogdan Gajewski, Expert on Aircraft Accident Investigation;

Kazimierz Nowaczyk, PhD, Expert on the analysis of TAWS and FMS instruments made in the U.S.

***** Antoni Macierewicz, M.P. Chairman, Polish Parliamentary Committee for Smolensk Crash Investigation

Honorable Antoni Macierewicz is one of key leaders of the Law and Justice Party (PiS), and a member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm). The opinion poll conducted in Poland on November 5, 2013 shows that Law and Justice (PiS) leads the governing Civic Platform (PO) by 11 percent. While PiS received 32% the governing PO received 21%.

Not many people in the West realize that Antoni Macierewicz is the founding father of the KOR – historic Workers’ Defense Committee formed in 1976 that gave birth to the Solidarity Movement in Poland. Together with figures well-known in the West such as Kuron and Michnik, Macierewicz organized a support network for persecuted anticommunist activist from large manufacturing plants.

The KOR operated effectively only a short period of time. By 1979 an ideological split between the atheist and catholic left emerged within KOR. The atheist left received much support from abroad and ultimately won the power struggle. It was the atheist left led by Kuron and Michnik that became the key player in negotiating a power sharing arrangement with the communist government. At the 1989 roundtable negotiations, the Polish communists received assurances of immunity for communist crimes and the guarantee of power sharing from representatives of the Solidarity Movement dominated by the atheist left. Thus a political realignment that followed cemented the cooperation of the atheist KOR and selected representatives of the Solidarity Movement with the communists. The currently governing Civic Platform derives from this political wing of the Solidarity Movement. The KOR leaders representing the catholic option like Antoni Macierewicz were pushed aside together with many Solidarity leaders who opposed the collaboration with communists and any guarantee of their immunity. Among those who were pushed aside was Anna Walentynowicz, the founding mother of the Solidarity Movement, who perished in the Smolensk Crash together with President Lech Kaczynski on April 10, 2010. Late President Lech Kaczynski was the co-founder of the Law and Justice Party (PiS).

After the public announcement of the official Russian findings regarding the cause of the Smolensk Crash, representatives of Law and Justice formed the Parliamentary Committee for the Investigation of the Smolensk Crash and chose Antoni Macierewicz as Chairman to lead an independent parliamentary investigation into this unprecedented event of historic proportions.

The Parliamentary Committee for the Investigation of the Smolensk Crash has issued several reports that invalidate the Russian conclusions. These reports as well as findings presented at two scientific conferences on the Smolensk Crash also invalidate conclusion of the Miller’s Commission formed by the Civic Platform Government led by Donald Tusk. Miller’s Commission merely repeated the Russian findings. In its efforts to determine the cause of the Smolensk Crash, the Parliamentary Committee led by Chairman Macierewicz is supported by many independent scientists from all over the world. Some of them will join Chairman Antoni Macierewicz in meetings with Polonia in the USA in November 2013.

7. Dr. Waclaw Berczynski, a world-famous aviation expert, Boeing and Bombardier aircraft structural design engineer.

Dr. Berczynski shows in a clear way that the Tu-154 M could not have fallen to thousands of pieces after hitting the birch tree. According to him, despite losing a part of the wing, the plane should have safety flown to the airport in Smolensk.

“From the very beginning it seemed to me that it was quite improbable that the plane, falling from the altitude of approximately 20 m at the speed of nearly 270 km/h had fallen apart in this way. According to all the versions of the events (i.e. reports of MAK and Miller's Committees) everything was all right until the plane was 20 meters above the ground. There was no failure. Then something unimaginable happened. The machine fell to thousands of pieces," says Waclaw Berczynski, PhD. "Only an explosion could have caused tearing out dozens of clinches connecting the construction of the wing of the governmental TU-154 plane," stresses Waclaw Berczynski PhD, an engineer, expert and constructor working for the Boeing company."
