Out of the Ashes - jak Feniks z popiołów
Meeting Mark Krawczynski
“Out of the Ashes: Warsaw Story” is a fascinating and moving documentary about the arduous and meticulous reconstruction of the capital of Poland after it was almost razed to the ground during World War II. Featuring the story of the main architect of the reconstruction effort, Mr Zbigniew Krawczyński and his son Mark, who after years returns to Warsaw and strolls the streets of the Old Town rebuilt by his father, the movie demonstrates the main characteristics of Polish culture: its vitality, endurance, courage, determination, spirituality and high moral and ethical standards.
