| It's an obvious pun but it has to be made nonetheless; our heroine's becoming Pub Service Girl. This whole lack of money thing is really beginning to work to her advantage. Or rather, to the disadvantage of those generous saps she calls her friends and random passers-by who gregariously offer to buy her 'just one' drink to make her feel included in social functions.
She's become very good at turning these polite sweet-nothings into binding contracts with exponentially accumulating interest on the quantity of alcoholic beverages to be supplied (in the parlance of the public service, that's actually considered a 'key competency') and has consequently been spending an inordinately large amount of time at the pub.
But apart from being a more apt moniker, Pub Service Girl has a funkier ring to it, and is more befitting her new acronym filled vocabulary. So all those SOB PMs in the ACT should get their PAs to draft MOAs about it ASAP, she reckons. As for the consultancy fee for such a brilliant idea, she'll just have a beer thanks. |
