Published by Australian Scholarly Publishing, ‘The Poles and Australia’ explores the most important turns of Polish political history and their impact on Australia – Poland relations.
These historical events have forever shaped the connection Australia has with Poland, which is based on mutual admiration, respect for democracy and human rights, and the promotion of peaceful cooperation on the international stage.
Dr Malgorzata Klatt is a Lecturer in the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne. Her research interests include post-communist transformations, Europeanization, intergovernmental relations and education policy in Australia and Europe. She is the author of Europeanization and Poland 2004–2010 (Scholar Publishing, 2012).
