on the road to recovery |
| Hi everyone. I wanted to thank every one of you for all the messages. They gave me lots of good energy while recovering right after the surgery.
It was a difficult time this past week. Lots of heavy painkillers, sleep, and no recollection of passage of time, but it's getting better with each day and I'm making good progress. I am proud to report that I am able to walk to the bathroom myself and no longer consider myself an overgrown baby. I moved on to a teenager phase, considering the state of my drug induced acne. Tomorrow I will have the stitches taken out so I will finally be able to get rid of my two silly ponytails. Given the mismatch in a stereotypical for each nation's sense of humour, I think the doctors are rather gladly kicking me out home in a few days. The road to full strength is still long but I am sure it will be all good. Thank you again for everything and I'll see you in a few weeks time. Danka.
