The awards recognise the outstanding contributions made by individuals and organisations who promote and support cultural diversity in Victoria.
Victorian Multicultural Commission Acting Chairperson, Ross Alatsas, says the awards provide an opportunity to formally honour many inspiring Victorians.
“Victoria’s Multicultural Awards for Excellence celebrate people and organisations who demonstrate true passion and commitment to serving our multicultural community.”
“These Victorians not only embrace diversity, they set a wonderful example for others to follow and demonstrate how multiculturalism is a way of life in our state,” he said.
Now in their 14th year, the awards are granted across 10 categories to recognise the breadth of achievements across Victoria.
