Larry Reed, one of my favourite writers, President of FEE has been writing a series themed on heroes of liberty. His most recent chapter is about Witold Pilecki; it had me in tears. Volunteered to go to Auschwitz.
The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) has shaped my thinking and the reading material which has provided me with almost all my knowledge, understanding and passion for liberty. I have belonged to it since 1970, my entire adult life, but I have copies of their journal ‘The Freeman’ dating back from 1965 to the present day. I have previously sent you and article from this journal, also written by Mr Reed, who spent some time in Poland communicating FEE ideas about liberty there around the time of Marshall LawHere's the link to it on Puls Polonii
Found the link to the recent talk Laurence Reed gave, titled “Are we Good enough for Liberty”. The whole talk is inspiring, but if you don’t have time at this moment to listen for the whole 30 minutes, go to about 26minutes 40 seconds and he provides an anecdote about his stay in Poland.
