• 9-15 Australian delegation (KHI) visits Poland to celebrate the UNESCO Kosciuszko Year in Krakow
• 20th October – Australian celebrations commence. Concerts; Exhibitions; Presentation of the works of the Competition Winners; Kosciuszko documentary film screenings (incl. Kosciuszko - A Man Ahead of His Time dir. by Alex Storozynski & Kosciuszko –Poland Will Yet Dance Again dir. by Ernestyna Skurjat-Kozek)
• End of October 2017 – Polish-Aboriginal celebrations in Jindabyne and on Mt Kosciuszko – a date to be announced by NGARIGO, traditional custodians of Snowy Mountains and Monaro.
The Australian celebrations of The Kosciuszko Year are being organised by Kosciuszko Heritage Inc. under the Patronage of His Excellency Ambassador of Poland, Paweł Milewski in conjunction with The Council of Polish Organisations and Kosciuszko National Park.
