The Sydney Consort would like to invite you for our last concert this year. This time, our ensemble will join for the first time the established Australian Baroque Brass. There will be not one, but 3 trumpets, not one but 2 baroque trombones, plus church organ, delightful soprano and gut strings!
Bohemian Baroque and Beyond Joining forces!
We invite you for an evening of sublime Bohemian baroque music, with some of Australia's finest musicians.
The delightful music from Bohemia will include such composers as Biber, Vejvanovsky, Wodiczka, Poglietti, Benda, and others.
Many of these works you can hear for the first time in Australia, especially on period instruments.
