A KITCHEN fire has destroyed a luxury lodge on Mt Tamborine, west of the Gold Coast, overnight.
At least 90 per cent of the lodge The Polish Place was ravaged by the fire, which broke out around 2.15am.
The 30-year-old tourist attraction, located on Main Western Rd, is popular for its restaurant and wooden chalets.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services expect to be at the scene all day.
It is understood the fire started in the kitchen of the restaurant, and the building was fully engulfed in flames when authorities arrived.
The Queensland Ambulance Service says no-one was injured.
A Queensland Police spokesman said the fire would be investigated but there was nothing to suggest it was suspicious.
