| The Kosciuszko Foundation, Philadelphia Chapter, in cooperation with the Museum of the American Revolution and the National Park Service, will be hosting a free public lecture by Gary B. Nash, PhD based on his book "Friends of Liberty: Thomas Jefferson, Tadeusz Kosciuszko and Agrippa Hull". Friends of Liberty tells the remarkable story of three men whose lives were braided together by issues of liberty and race that fueled revolutions across two continents. Thomas Jefferson wrote the founding documents of the United States. Tadeusz Kosciuszko was a hero of the American Revolution and later led a spectacular but failed uprising in Poland, his homeland. Agrippa Hull, a freeborn black New Englander, volunteered at eighteen to join the Continental Army. Join us for this fascinating lecture!
Our reception follows a lecture by Historian Gary Nash and features food, drinks, great conversation and our famous Kosciuszko Bridge cocktail. Immerse yourself in revolutionary war history and join us at beautiful new Liberty Hall, a banquet room located in the museum. Please note no tickets will be mailed but your name will be registered at the door for entrance.
Registration for admission to free lecture will begin on August 24th, 2017 and will be required due to limited space.

You may wish to visit the Museum of the American Revolution prior to the lecture; the latest timed ticket for entrance that day, sold by the museum, is for 3:40 pm.
