| Polish Community Council in Victoria Inc is looking for a 2 day a week End Of Life/Palliative Care Project Officer for an innovative project to help Polish community and carers across Victoria who provide care for people with life-limiting illnesses.This project will help clients and carers to receive tailored support and to access relevant services and resources during the course of caring so their loved ones (carer recipients) can remain at home for as long as possible, usually until their death.
Highly Desirable Skills:
Relevant diploma or tertiary qualifications; excellent project planning, implementation and management skills; high proficiency in written and verbal communication and partner relationships; experience working with diverse communities on relevant age care projects; fluency in Polish community language; experience and knowledge of working in palliative care that recognises the unique needs of a client and carers who has a terminal condition and are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
