Please find attached various photos and information regarding the Polish Club Ashfield from the first half of this year. Additionally we ask you advise your readers of the upcoming Warsaw Uprising event at our Club. Attached is the following..... -Several photos of Channel 7 “Sunrise” program who visited our Club on 1 February 2018. This is the national number one breakfast program with half a million viewers nationally -Our restaurant “Sto Lat” being recognized for excellence, and was nominated as a finalist in the Inner West Small Business Awards -Our Club being a sponsor for the upcoming Invictus Games in October where the Polish team will be competing for the first time. -Easter Markets were hugely successful with several thousand people attending on the day. -We hosted, together with Fundacja the Annual 3 May Concert in the Clubs auditorium -We were delighted to welcome the Hon David Elliott MP as an Honorary Member of the Club. Minister Elliott is the Minister for Counter Terrorism, Corrections and Veterans Affairs in NSW. Both his grandmothers were from Poland. -We are hosting the annual commemoration of the Warsaw Uprising on Sunday 5 August at 3.00pm. -Our restaurant “Sto Lat” is featured again in the mainstream press.
