The first of 50 new trains made in Poland for the metro system in Dubai will arrive in the United Arab Emirates in November, according to reports. Fifteen of the trains will be used to serve the Expo 2020 exhibition in Dubai, the Gulf News website has reported.
The last of the new trains, manufactured by Alstom in Chorzów, southern Poland, are to be delivered in October 2019. Public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported that a compartment in the trains will be reserved for women and children.
