PANORAMIC BEAUTY

Photo: Chris Osostowicz
PP: It is our pleasure to present yet another "maestro of digital camera" of Polish origin. His name is Christopher Osostowicz. He has his own Home Page.

He writes about himself:

I was born in January, a long time ago and as an Aquarius by nature it was only a natural progression towards enjoying snorkeling and spear fishing. Besides this, nature outings with my friends turned me into a committed bushwalker and nature lover. Unfortunately I live in Sydney surrounded by a population of 4 million other Wogs like me, which encourages me to go bushwalking almost every weekend, to get away from them, the noise of traffic, trains and endless chatter.

The beauty of Sydney is that it takes only a 1 hour drive to get from my house to my favorite place, Wollemi National Park, where you can find beautiful, pristine places that look like they've never been touched by another human being.

Fog in Wollemi Park.

Strangely enough, in a park that is in the vicinity of a population of 4 million, a tree was discovered that is supposed to have been extinct 5 million years ago. Thanks to the fast Australian life and its people, who are too busy building careers and climbing social and financial ladders to disturb these places, they have been preserved in their original form which to me, an amateur photographer, is like paradise.

PENRITH BRIDGE.

I'm inviting you to view the panoramic pictures I have taken of Australian nature and landscapes, especially created in large formats, and would be happy to receive your opinion and comments.
