| Piątek, 21 lipca 2023, godzina 3 rano. Według wstępnych obliczeń w konkursie udział wzięło 135 osób z 9 krajów (Polski, Australii, Irlandii, Litwy, Rosji, Ukrainy, Bułgarii, USA i Uzbekistanu). Liczba zgłoszonych dzieł z pewnością przekroczy 150, co pozwoli godnie uczcić 150 rocznicę śmierci Pawła Edmunda Strzeleckiego.
W konkursie plastycznym wzięło udział 35 dorosłych artystów i 31 młodzieży w wieku 12-18 lat.
W konkursie poetyckim swoje dzieła zgłosiło 32 osób dorosłych i 11 młodych.
Swoje piosenki do konkursu zgłosiły 24 osoby dorosłe, dzięki czemu dziedzictwo Strzeleckiego wzbogaci się o co najmniej 30 piosenek, dokładną liczbę podamy lada dzień. Udział młodziezy był tu skromniejszy, wystartowały zaledwie dwie drużyny.
Przypomnijmy, że konkurs został ogłoszony w marcu br, ale przez kilka miesięcy panowała dosyć głucha cisza, nadchodziły pojedyńcze prace. Prawdziwy ruch w interesie rozpoczął się pod koniec czerwca, ale to, co sie działo przez ostatnią dobę, można określić mianem potopu. Mamy więc klęskę urodzaju, jaka się nam - organizatorom - nawet nie marzyła. Było do przewidzenia, że pojawią nam się piosenki po polsku, natomiast wspaniałą niespodzianką są piosenki po angielsku, a te mają szansę promować Strzeleckiego na skalę międzynarodową.
