ZESPÓŁ NA WYSTĘPACH W EUROPIE |
The Sydney Consort will present a concert - Music of Versailles - where the musicians will pay tribute to the outstanding exponent of the viola da gamba Marin Marais, whose 350the birth anniversary is celebrated thoughout the "baroque world" this year.
In the programme - works by: Marin Marais, Antoine Forqueray, Jean-Philippe Rameau and Monsieur de Sainte Colombe, Jean Marie Leclair and some duetts for 2 viola da gambas. The most famous and admired work of Marais "La sonnerie de Sainte Genevieve du Mont a Paris" will be also performed in this concert.
