| Something to colour the day of Puls Polonii Readers
Zespół Pieśni i Tańca ‘Lajkonik’ wystąpił z półgodzinnym programem na ‘Festiwalu Pokoju’ zorganizowanym przez Sydney City Council w niedzielę 24 wrzesnia w Victoria Park, City Road, Camperdown.

The day was hot and windy, but 21 dancers from Lajkonik arrived at Victoria Park, next to Sydney University, to give their contribution in aid of World Peace for all nations.

Lajkonik's participation was requested by the Polish Consulate of Sydney, and the young dancers performed a 30-minute continuous programme which consisted of Polonez, Krakowiak and Kujawiak-Oberek as well as three lovely duets.
The organisers have rung to congratulate Lajkonik on a programme which was enjoyed by all!
Thankyou to those in Lajkonik who gave up their Sunday to promote World Peace!
