Dear Friends,
I am taking the liberty to inform you that the Beethoven Choir is excited
about this Saturday's concert presentation with the exceptionally talented
Adam Mickiewicz University Chamber Choir from Poznan, under the direction of
their acclaimed conductor Krzysztof Szydzisz (please find the attached flyer). The UAM Chamber Choir will perform the first half of the concert on
their own with a wonderful selection of music of contrasting styles. You
will have the occasion to hear some beautiful unaccompanied singing by the
outstanding 36 voice ensemble from Poznan. The second half will feature both
choirs in a performance of the FAURE REQUIEM. This exquisite music is
universally admired for its warmth and gentleness.
