Puls Polonii has been asked to inform readers that the funeral and requiem mass for the late Cora Kazmirowicz, who died in tragic circumstances on Palm Sunday, will be held on Wednesday, the 11th of April 2007, at St Mary's Cathedral at 10:00am.
The mass will officially commence at 10:30am, though as of 10:00am those wishing to pray for the soul of the Deceased, and to farewell her earthly person laid in an open casket, will be able to do so.
Father Janusz Bieniek will preside over the mass, assisted by other priests. Major Robert Sutherland, a chaplain of the Australian Army will deliver a Eulogy.
The body of the late Cora will then be taken to the Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens and Crematorium in North Ryde and there cremated.
The Cathedral is located in Sydney’s CBD, in the heart of the City, opposite Hyde Park. It is accessible by train – by alighting at St James station – or by car, which is best left parked in the Domain.
Cora’s body will be displayed on Good Friday in the chapel of Simplicity Funerals, 1496 Pacific Hwy in Warrawee and accessible between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:00pm.
The family has asked relatives and friends not to lay wreaths. Rather, a symbolic flower may be presented – white, red, blue – the colours of Poland and Australia, symbolising the two cultures Cora joined with such harmony.
Instead of flowers, too, donations may be made to the below mentioned charity organization, titled ‘Cora.’
