| Members of the Sydney Consort prepare themselves for a six week tour across four European countries in June/July. Our ensemble will perform works by Dietrich Buxtehude (commemorating his 300 years aniversary), Georg Philipp Telemann (commemorating his 240 years aniversary) and the Sydney Consort will present to promote works of three Australian composers: Alan Holley, Margery Smith and Stephen Yates.
Before the Sydney Consort will depart to perform in European music festivals and concerts, the ensemble would like to present their programme by performing it in Sydney. We hope you can support us by attending our concert and would appreciate giving us your feedback.
Our ensemble has recorded for this event a CD (4th) with the title
"Dietrich, Georg Philipp and their mates from down-under" , which will be for sale after the concert.
