| Sydnejskie Orły – Polish Community Achievers Award was established in 2005 to give recognition to those members of Polish community in Australia who have made an outstanding contribution to their community and the world around them.
The Award acknowledges accomplishments in the fields of arts and culture, education, sports, politics, social work and business. It gives credit to people who contribute to the sense of pride in Polish affairs in Australia, especially if their achievements are unlikely to be recognised by the relevant institutions in Australia or Poland.
