You're invited to the annual Bielany Fest!
Janina Nowowiejska

The Polish Foundation of NSW would like to invite you and your family and friends to the annual Bielany Fest on Sunday 2nd March 2008.

Celebrate the end of summer with some succulent Polish food from various stalls on the day and a cold Polish beer to tantalise your taste buds. Polish cakes, coffee and tea will also be on hand to entice your sweet tooth!

The day will include live Polish music and performances from local folkloric dance ensembles, Syrenka and Lajkonik. To cool down after a day of fun and excitement take a dip in the Colo River or simply enjoy watching your children interact and play together on the river bank.

Bielany is an integral part of the Polish culture in Sydney, acting as a meeting place for family and friends, a place where friends can be made and a place where the Polish Australian youth can interact with each other.

Bring your family and friends to experience some Polish culture and enjoy the great atmosphere the Polish community has to offer.

The more the merrier!

Address: BIELANY 213 Upper Colo Road, COLO 2756

Entry to Bielany Fest is $6 for adults, $4 for pensioners, and kids are free.

For more information or if you are interested in having a stall on the day please call Bruno Lacek on (02) 9798 8690.

Organizers are looking for some friendly Volunteers for the day. If there is anyone out there who could lend a hand please call Melissa Weston on 0408 013 474 or email her on melissa@keepfish.com
