Teresa was born in Poland. She came to Australia with her parents in 1964. Knowing very little English at the time Teresa sang two lead roles in Gilbert and Sullivan's operettas, while in high school.
She left Australia for 10 years, spent 7 years in Canada where she was busy singing art songs and oratorios. In 1980 she came back to Australia, and continued her vocal studies
at the Canberra School of Music.
Today she teaches others how to sing. She runs her own studio "Bright Voices". Her son is a musician, and plays at London's West End.
Last weekend Teresa took part in the Polish Festival of Religious Song and Poetry in Canberra, where she sang two beautiful Jan Kochanowski' s psalms.
