The cold snap is continuing to benefit the Victorian Alpine region.
It rained on the mountains today, but there is still a lot of snow from falls yesterday.
Snow Reporter Maureen Gearon says the low temperatures have allowed snow to be made at most of the mountain resorts.
"Got a bit of drizzle about the mountains this morning, moderate to strong winds, they might reach gale force a bit later, but then ease off, but we've got more lifts opening thanks to the snow we had yesterday."
