| Next year, 2010 will be great year for Poland and all world music lovers of Frederic Chopin . With regard to this even I would like to share with you some important news as below . "Migliore & Servetto Architetti Associati has won the international competition for design and construction of new permanent installations for the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw. More than 30 projects were presented, from Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Austria, Greece, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland and Poland."
Still quoting. "The Museum is located in Ostrogski Castle, a historical complex built in the 17th century and then rebuilt around 1950 to house what will in 2010 become the biggest Chopin collection in the world, including more than 5000 items pertaining to the great composer’s life and work. In 1999 part of the collection was included in the Unesco World Heritage list of items to be protected and preserved because of their exceptional cultural value.
Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto recently received the Compasso d'Oro award for their "Look of the City" project with Italo Lupi for the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics."
