| The Embassy of the Republic of Poland presents its compliments to the Diplomatic Missions and International Organisations and has the sad duty to inform them with deepest sorrow that during the tragic fire in a social services hostel in Kamien Pomorski (north-western Poland) on 13 April 2009, 21 people died and more than 20 were injured.
The President of the Republic of Poland resolved to introduce national mourning on the territory of the Republic of Poland from 14 to 16 April 2009.
A book of condolence will be open for signature at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Canberra in the Chancery at 7 Turrana Street, Yarralumla, ACT on Wednesday, 15 April 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Thursday,
16 April 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
