Come and celebrate the 200th anniversary of Chopin's birth at City Recital Hall in Angel Place, on Saturday March 13, 2010, at 5.00 pm. The Federation of Polish Associations in NSW is presenting a concert celebrating the bicentenary of Chopin’s birth. The concert will show the splendor of Chopin’s music in all its variety and richness. Included will be not only his more known pieces, but also music written for a trio and love songs sung by an renowned Polish opera artist.
The artists performing are: Tamara Cislowska - A major national and international prize winner Gregory Kinda – An artist who has played in national and international recitals, performing in Stuart & Sons Piano Robert Curry – The Head of classical music academies in Sydney, Warsaw and New York Maciej Pawela – An international soloist in Europe and Australia Stan Kornel – Violin - Sydney Symphony Orchestra Ewa Kowalska – Flute – Sydney Symphony Orchestra Michal Wieczorek – Cello - Various Symphonic Orchestras Agnieszka Piass – Soprano - A performer in Polish and German opera houses.
