Dear Mr Gromann, I have received several calls on this matter. The descriptions of television programs are not compiled by "The Australian" (or indeed any other newspaper). The programs are delivered to "The Australian" by a company that in turn receives its information from the television networks.
It’s not possible for me to say whether the ambiguity of the phrasing was created by the network or by those editing the information by the compilers at "Pagemasters", who supply the information to us in a form that is complete in itself (that is, as a whole page) and ready to publish.
We take the information on good faith, and unfortunately don’t have the resources to check every listing on every page for accuracy.That said, I sincerely regret if this has caused pain to anyone in the Polish community.
