| Untamed Gardens - an exhibition by photographic artists Vivienne Kelly and Renata Buziak. Kelly’s photographic landscapes present glowing and ephemeral shadows that emphasise relationships between marine forms and species of plants found on land. Buziak’s ‘biochromes’ are created by species of plants found on land and show how natural processes can reveal nature’s transformative powers. Buziak and Kelly have collaborated to produce two separate bodies of work that celebrate everything growing freely along the ocean-front and shore-line in the Untamed Garden.

From the very beginning 2010 has proved to be a very busy and exciting year for me. For the last few months (or more...) I’ve been working a on a few things – and I’m very happy to share some of the results with you, hoping you might be able to join me please and celebrate some of the coming up events.
My work was exhibited at Photo Los Angeles in January, then at the Redland Art Galley as part of the ‘Inside the Collection’ exhibition; Current issue of the International Photography magazine Silvershotz – features the QCP and Qld photographers – including my work (available from Borders).
Below is a list of exhibitions my work is in from next week till May, and – a book launch of my first publication on April 30th :-) . Also my mum is in Australia for 5 weeks :-) which is just fantastic as I have not seen her for 6 years! She loves Australia and soaking up the sun and salt from the ocean. Now you know why you have not seen much of me for sometime...
Also in April 2010 the 3rd biennial Queensland Festival of Photography is on. There are about 35 venues participating this year and catalogues of all events will be available end of the week from any of these venues. Please check the Festival’s website and hope you‘ll be able to enjoy some of the many activities that are coming up wherever you are. Book launch and 2 of the exhibitions with my work – are also part of the Festival.
