| On Saturday 10 April, the Polish Government confirmed that the Polish President, Lech Kaczynski, his wife and over 90 other people including senior government members and military figures, died in a plane crash in western Russia.
Members of the Australian Polish community, along with people from around the world, will be mourning the loss of the President and so many other innocent lives.
The Australian Government expresses its deepest condolences to the Polish Government and people following this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
