Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky arrives in Australia after a tour of South-East Asia. His Australian concert tour will include Sydney, Hobart, Canberra, Darwin and Perth.

Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky made his international debut at the age of 16 at Suntory Hall in Tokyo and Festival Hall in Osaka with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. Later on, he gained the highest acclaim having successfully performed in North and South America, Asia, South and North Africa, the Middle East and nearly all countries of Europe.
Since 2003 he has been listed as a Steinway Artist on the "Steinway & Sons Artists' Roster" in New York.
He is also known as a Montblanc Artist, for his recording of the Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 with Philharmonia of the Nations Orchestra in Hamburg, exclusively for the Montblanc Meisterstück on the 150th anniversary of F. Chopin's death.
Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky has performed at renowned music festivals, i.e. in Switzerland (Lucerne Festival), Germany (Schleswig-Holstein, Oranienstein), England (Carlisle), France (Nice Summer), Poland
(Chopin-Duszniki, Mozart-Warsaw, Cracow's Spring), Romania (Lipatti), Bosnia (Sarayevo Winter), Mexico (Cervantino), Argentina (Buenos Aires) and Brazil (Londrina).
He has performed in many prestigious concert halls around the world, including the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, "KKL" in Lucerne, Palau da Musica in Barcelone, Warsaw National Philharmonic, Auditorio M. Jora in Bucharest, Sala Cecilia Meirelles in Rio de Janeiro, Salon Dorado in Buenos Aires, Teatro Solis in Montevideo, Victoria Concert Hall in Singapore, Metropolitan Art Space in Tokyo and Linder Hall in Johannesburg.
Lustchevsky received his Master's Degree in Performing Arts at the University of Music in Katowice/Poland (M.D.in 1999). He pursued his musical training at the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola/Italy and completed postgraduate studies (Konzertexamen) at Hochschule für Musik "Franz Liszt" in Weimar/Germany (Ph.D. in 2001). His principal teachers were: prof. Andrzej Jasinski and Maestro Lazar Berman. Maestro Alexis Weissenberg also exerted substantial influence on the development of his artistic personality (during his studies in Switzerland).
Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky is a winner of the highest awards at the international piano competitions, such as: "Clara Schumann" in Germany, "Maria Canals" in Spain, "Luis Sigall" in Chile and the UNESCO International Piano Competition "Dinu Lipatti" in Bucharest, Romania.
His artistic activity has also been crowned with special distinctions from important institutions, such as: Ministry of Culture and Art of the Republic of Poland, The President of Romania, The Board of the City of Rio de Janeiro, International Chopin Festival in Poland, the Frederic Chopin Society in Warsaw and the Government of Germany (DAAD).

Raphael has wide-ranging interests in music. His diverse concerto-repertoire features 27 positions representing Baroque through contemporary with focus on Romanticism. He also performs modern Polish concertos, such as Concerto for Piano and Orchestra by Krzesimir Debski (1997), dedicated to him.
Hailed as one of the very best pianists of the young generation, Lustchevsky has been collaborating since 1999 as a Guest Professor and Lecturer with the International Music Festival of Londrina (Brazil). He has been a member of the jury at the International Young Musicians' Competition "Jovens Solistas" in Brazil.
In 2003 Raphael was appointed an Honorary Professor at the National University of Costa Rica. He has offered master classes and lectures at music universities in Edinburgh, Algiers, Damascus, New Delhi, Bangkok, Panama City, Montevideo, Santiago de Chile and in his native Poland.
