The Chopin Committee on behalf of the Council of Polish Organisations in the ACT requests the pleasure of your company at its next Chopin event – a recreation in costume of the life of Chopin featuring two Chopins – the pianist and himself playing and reading his letters in the setting of a Paris Salon @ the Polish Embassy. Ticketed admission limited to 180 places.
"Chopin - a Longing Heart" - a musical exploration interspersed with letters of a Polish emigre's life in Paris during the 1830's and 1840's and his longing for his homeland, expressed through his piano and vocal works. A recreation in costume and recited in English in the elegant setting of a French salon.
