| The Sydney Consort is happy to announce its fifth CD recording with music of J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel, Dario Castello, Nicola Matteis and Astor Piazzolla recorded by Monika and Stan Kornel. The ensemble with the Polish Consulate would like to invite you for this special event. Due to limited number of seats, please send us an e-mail with the confirmation of your attendance. After a few short speeches, there will be an approximately 30 minute performance with some selected works from this new release. The new recording will be on sale before and after the event.
The Sydney Consort’s new album Baroquen Path was recorded in June 2010 with the music of JS Bach, Handel, Dario Castello, Nicola Matteis and Astor Piazzolla. This album is dedicated to the brilliant, loving and generous violin virtuoso, Maestra Wanda Wilkomirska, the inspiration for generations of violinists, admired by musicians and music lovers all over the world. Her modesty and love for music has moved and inspired the Sydney Consort to perform and finalise this recording.
