| It was our dream to invite Kosciuszko Brewing Company to join us at Kosciuszko Run & Kozzie Fiesta 2011 and offer our guests a nice taste of a new brand of beer, Kosciuszko Pale Ale. And yes, the legendary Dr Chuck Hahn, the chief brewmaster of Kosciuszko Brewing Company, said YES! So come to Charlotte Pass Village on Saturday 12th February 2011 and taste the beer! This is a very special beer because it comes from the highest brewery in Australia. And guess what is an advantage of it? It is a low boiling point 97C! We should also tell you that the Kosciuszko Brewing Company is the first brewery to actually operate from the Snowy Mountains. And it has been awarded Bronze Medal in 2010.
How does it taste? "The aroma was alluringly sweet with a hint of fudge or toffee and subtle malt; that vanished like a fart in the wind. The flavour was light, crisp and refreshing with a faint hint of banana and stone-fruit which left me wanting more."

In his email to Kozzie Fiesta organisers Chuck has written: "Kosciuszko Pale Ale" is available at a number of independent bottle shops, like Camperdown Cellars, but also now at the Dan Murphy's big bottleshop stores across the state.
We have opened a very limited number of hotels where it is on tap, but mainly just the James Squire Brewhouses.
Retailers or clubs can order bottles through Fine Wine Partners company, or ALM distributors.
In Jindabyne, we brew the pale ale at Banjos and it is available on tap, served directly from the storage tanks in the cellar area. However, for bottling and some kegging, we brew larger batches at the Malt Shovel Brewery in Camperdown where my office is.
And what if you are from Perth? Do not worry. Kosciuszko Pale Ale is available in all states.
