The Australian Mountain Running Association and Strzelecki Heritage Inc. present the 2nd Kosciuszko Run 2011.This 11km run will be held on Saturday the 12th of February 2011 at 9am. The day will conclude with a picnic and live show with music organised by the Puls Polonii Cultural Foundation. The Day of Fun at Kosciuszko Run in the Village will include: a concert to honour the runners, a medal presentation ceremony, an all-day picnic, stalls, Polish sausages, famous potato pancakes, Kosciuszko Wines & Kosciuszko Beer tasting and much more!
Kosciuszko National Park is unique and home to Australia’s tallest mountain, Mt Kosciuszko. It is a special place and we are inviting everyone to our special weekend at Charlotte Pass in NSW.
The Day of Fun at Kosciuszko Run 2011 and Strzelecki Walk 2011 is not only for runners but walkers also – it is for the whole family.

Strzelecki Heritage Inc. & Wild Walks invite You to the Strzelecki Walk 2011.Strzelecki Walk 2011 will start the 21.9 km circuit walk at Charlotte Pass Car Park. The trail follows the Main Range Track in Kosciuszko National Park in NSW.
This full day walk explores some of the greatest alpine country on offer in NSW. The walk grants views of Blue, Club and Albina Lakes, climbs to the top of Mt Kosciuszko and crosses the famous Snowy River twice. This main range circuit is one of the classic walks in New South Wales, as the views in clear weather extend all the way over the mountainous landscape to the distant horizon.
