One of the legacies of the Chopin Bicentenary in Australia is the international piano competition known as the Australian Chopin Piano Competition which will be inaugurated in Canberra from the 2-8 May 2011. It is being organised by the ANU School of Music and supported by a newly established Friends of the Australian Chopin Piano Competition.
